Delete account

1. Delete through the app

In the Pactaris app:

• open Account and tap Delete account;
• read the notice about what will be deleted and what may be kept;
• confirm with your password and the code from your authenticator app;
• at the end, your session is closed and you return to the sign-in screen.

2. Request without opening the app

If you cannot sign in to the app, send an e-mail to contato@firmaris.com.br, preferably from the account's address, with the subject “Pactaris account deletion” (the button above opens the message ready). Include the account e-mail, your name and the organization. We may confirm your identity by replying to the account e-mail before completing. We will reply within a reasonable time and as required by law; no fixed deadline is defined at this pilot stage.

Do not send passwords, verification codes, signing links or documents by e-mail.

3. What happens to the account

• your access ends and sessions and notifications are revoked;
• the second authentication factor is invalidated;
• the account's personal data (name and e-mail) is removed or anonymized, replaced by a placeholder so the records keep their integrity;
• you receive a confirmation by e-mail before anonymization, with the date and the contact channel.

4. What may be kept, and why

Pactaris produces evidence trails. For that reason, documents and evidence from requests already created are not deleted automatically with the account: they belong to the organization's workflow and may be kept to preserve proof of the act, comply with legal obligations or allow the regular exercise of rights, as described in the Privacy policy.

To delete documents, an administrator of the organization can request authorized deletion: the plan is reviewed and executed with a record of the request, without content. After that, the verification code is no longer recognized in the portal. Copies you or the participants already downloaded are beyond our reach, and the seal and the public key remain published, so those copies stay verifiable outside Pactaris.

5. Before deleting

• If you are the last active administrator of the organization, appoint another administrator or talk to us about closing the organization.
• If you have requests in progress, cancel them or transfer them to another user of the organization.

6. Backups and timing

Backups follow their own short cycle, and deleted data ceases to exist in them according to that cycle; copies kept by the cloud provider may persist for the window of its plan. The retention period for documents and evidence has not been defined yet and will be handled by contract with each organization.

7. Participants without an account

People who only signed a document have no account in the app. For requests about your data, use your rights under art. 18 of the LGPD through the same e-mail. We may forward the request to the controlling organization, and we do not delete the proof of other signers.
